Drywall Day!

Our house is getting drywall today. Can you see my smile? You should be able to . . . I'm pretty positive it's bigger than the Mississippi River.

Ryanne ha discovered that she can undo the velcro on her shoes and redo it. She finds this amusing. Who knew I would spend hundreds of dollars on toys and she would play with her shoes? Well, yes all of you moms knew - but of course I didn't listen. Who knew? Leah - stubborn . . . no way!

Sweet Smiles

I'm 15 minutes late this morning. The school bus runs me off the road that is only wide enough for one car anyway. Better fix that Grant county!!! The traffic is backed up for miles because of a wreck. Spells out bad morning, right? Wrong. I drop off Ry at daycare and see that sweet angelic face and it's ALL worth it. She is the greatest blessing and makes everything I do worth it. I love you, Ryanne.




Yes, my seven month old loves money. You've got to teach them early!!!

Got to Love Monday

Monday means less time with my sweet angel. Did I mention I hate Monday?





Anyway, this was a decent Monday! Our siding went up today, and our master vanity came via ups freight - semi to the front door (I must be important). Pictures to come.

Ryanne spent the evening reading the menu at purple cow. I think she's going to love milkshakes like her Dad. Oh well, no need to fight it.

House Progress

So our house is making progress. It's unreal to watch it go up. It seems like I've waited so long for it, and now its happening so fast! Ryanne is growing like a little weed. She hit her 7 month milestone, and has learned not only to be super attached to momma but also to say ma-ma. She got her second tooth, and is slowly getting some hair.

So I've been slacking....

I've been slacking apparently. It's kind of hard to keep up with your child's milestones on a blog if you don't actually post them on the blog. I suppose I can blame it on the holidays, right? Oh well, maybe I haven't forgotten it yet. Here are some important highlights:

1. We can now sit up completely on our own.
2. Lovebug has learned to stand with the assistance of the dishwasher.
3. 6 month checkup: all good! 18 lbs 9 oz, 29 1/2 in tall. 99% height wise. Think she's going to be tall?
4. Drooling like crazy, but still no teeth.
5. Tomorrow (well, in an hour and a half) my angel will be 1/2 year old. I can't believe it

It seems like yesterday that she was born. Just for record keeping and inflation purposes total cost of Ryanne's birth: $14,971.26. CRAZY! But - totally worth every penny and many more. She is already such fun - I can't imagine what's to come. I would've never imagined being this happy before she was born. Well, off to bed I go before Ryanne wakes me in the morning. I was going to catch up on sleep tonight, but instead I'm catching up on blogging.Tomorrow's mission: spend some wonderful cuddle time with my half of a year old baby girl!
