Show us Your Master Bedroom!

Since we moved into our house in May, our master bedroom has always been the most neglected room (and continues to be). We are having our Christmas pictures made next week though so we'll be ordering some gallery wraps to adorn our walls shortly afterward! In the meantime, however, let me introduce you to my poorly decorated and overly neglected master bedroom:
This is the view of our master bedroom when you walk in the door.

Side view from our master bath. The mirror on the floor provides much entertainment for Ryanne, so for now I suppose it will stay there. Maybe one day I can coax Trey into hanging it for me. When I decide where I want it, that is.

A close up view from when you walk in the door. I LOVE the throw on the bed. It's Cindy Crawford from JCP and it's chenille and wonderful. Very wonderful.

More overhead view. The throw pillows came from the lovely Wal*Mart ($6 each) and the bedding set is from JCP. Cindy Crawford set; I wanted it before we even finished building the house!

This is how on top of things I am. Ryanne is now 14 months old, and this sits on my nightstand with pictures of her from newborn to 5 months. Haha! I guess I should get on that.

Our "nightstands" were actually our old coffee table that is two pieces. I liked it much better as side tables than I did as a coffee table because it always rolled apart and glass in the living room is not an option when you have a toddler monkey girl.

Hope you enjoyed the tour and keep coming back to see more of our home in the coming weeks!

Going to the Fair . . .

If you have ever missed an episode of Teen Mom, you can just go to our county fair and catch up on anything you missed. Not to be rude, but I have never been so disappointed in a fair in my life. I suppose something about childhood made it illustrious, but it certainly is no more. Trey and I were so frustrated with it only minutes after arriving that we wound up not even staying to let Ryanne ride and of the rides. However we did go to the parade before the fair, and although we had the same rude people problem there we got some cute pictures of Ryanne and us as well as a handful of the parade.

Ryanne NEEDED to sit in Dad's chair instead of her own.

What is going on at the parade, MOM?

Fire trucks are Ryanne's favorite. But not because Trey is a firefighter. No, definitely not.

Top 2 Tuesday!

Top 2 Favorite Hair Products

1. Freeze It Hairspray: I have the most lightweight hair that there is anywhere. EVER. I absolutely adore this hairspray because it holds down my hair and keeps it still, which is a feat only for the Gods. Well, and this hairspray. And the second best part is that it sells for $4 at Wal-Mart. How much better than that does it get?

2. Dust It Mattifying Powder: It's made by OSIS, and it is wonderful. Not okay-wonderful, but more like but more like I'm-going-to-kiss-you-until-you-suffocate-wonderful.  See above about the lightest hair ever, which also means the hardest hair to tease ever. This powder is my hair savior.

Maybe if your hair is like mine, but not as bad as mine (Remember, mine is the worst ever?) These products well help you and soon be your hair saviors too!!

Run, Ryanne, Run!

Lately Ryanne has become quite the expert walker, so much in fact that she has started sprinting almost everywhere! I decide, with Fall creeping up on us, that it's time to buy her some good shoes.

These are her previous new shoes, and I swear she runs twice as fast with them on, or it seems that way anyway!

On the way home from shopping and eating dinner with Granny last night, she was being quite the little ham.

I tried to get a picture of her in some adorable Halloween pajamas but her top or her back was all I could manage to snap a picture of. Maybe one day shell slow down so I can keep up, but I'm soaking up this fun stage while it lasts.
