Still Alive!

I'm still alive, just in case any of you were wondering. haha! It's hard to keep up with all of the things of normal life and deal with all of the paperwork and added doctor's appointments and therapy etc that are now a part of our life.

I'm so very thankful that Trey is as well as he is, but it is definitely a challenge to manage our new life.

Trey's biggest challenge right now is managing his pain and dealing with relearning his coordination skills. His fine motor skills were damaged, I think? Or at least he's having difficulty with them now, which creates problems and frustration for him. 

But in the same breath, we are so grateful that he can use his arms and legs that we will happily deal with the challenges of therapy. 

It's tough for him to not be able to play with Ryanne and pick her up and cuddle her. It's challenging for me to not have the help I used to have. It is very difficult to get everything done around the house on top of everything else, but we'll figure it out somehow.
