Halloween Who?

I am unbelievably excited for Ryanne's  first Halloween that she can walk, and talk babble. I have been looking at Halloween costumes for my sweet girl, and just can't decide ~ so I want your help? Which one is your favorite?

Let me know which one is your favorite, please! I'll never be able to decide on my own.

A Picture is Worth 1000 Words

It's hard to believe that this sweet little girl barely slept through the night a year ago. She could crawl, or walk. It's so amazing the changes that happen in a baby's life in just a year.

These two are my world! God is so good!

This face can always make me smile. No Matter What.

 Sweet Smile

 Our little family

What family shoot is complete without a little lovin' action?
 And last but not least . . . 3 generations. . . bet you can't tell we're related!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas . . .

Jessica, over at Love From Texas, does Tuesday's list and they're quite amazing. Mainly because I am also a compulsive list maker, and it does wonderful things for my soul to type a list out of things I do, things I want, or things I want to do. Haha! Making a list of things that need to get done can get depressing though. So we won't go there, okay?

Since it's only 87 days until Christmas, I might as well make a Christmas list, right? But who is counting?

I want a chaise lounge like this one, except not white, because it would be nasty.
And I want a ottoman/coffee table like this, except not orange.
I LOVE LOVE this cardigan. I've been looking for one, but so far no cigar.
Can't forget the Miss Me jeans. I got 2 pair for my birthday and am in love.
And, finally, I would love one of these. But I can keep dreaming for a while.

This is *maybe* on Ryanne's Christmas list:
What do you want for Christmas? What do you think about Ryanne's present? I'm not sure if she'll like it.

Top 2 Tuesday

Top 2 Songs Right Now . . .

Little White Church: by Little Big Town
not that applies to me or my life at all but I just like it. It has a great beat, and is one of my favorites for right now. Until tomorrow . . . anyway.

Stuck Like Glue: by Sugarland

Because it's HILARIOUS (the music video, not the song necessarily)

*And yes, I know today is not Tuesday but I wanted to share these and I have something awesome-er for tomorrow (Yes, I just said that. And no, I don't care that it's not grammatically correct.)

My Fair Lady

So, I'm sure you read about the fair in town already but I didn't fill you in on the rodeo!! (And in case you're not quite informed yet, rodeos are a BIG deal around our house)

Ryanne LOVES her some popcorn. Actually, love is probably an understatement, but I suppose she comes by it honestly. I should buy stock in Orville Redenbacher's.

Sitting in her chair watching them rope.

After the rodeo Saturday night, she was worn out and slept so long Sunday morning. Trey was at work so we just had a girls day and helped my mom paint her laundry room. Ryanne had some pizza for lunch. Do you think she liked it????

Have a great day!!

It's the little things in Life

Over the 14 months since we had Ryanne, we've probably bought thousands (or close) of dollars worth of toys and "entertainment" but she is more amazed by a mountain dew box than I believe she has been by any of her toys. Ever. It's the little things in life. Enjoy.

Show us Your Master Bedroom!

Since we moved into our house in May, our master bedroom has always been the most neglected room (and continues to be). We are having our Christmas pictures made next week though so we'll be ordering some gallery wraps to adorn our walls shortly afterward! In the meantime, however, let me introduce you to my poorly decorated and overly neglected master bedroom:
This is the view of our master bedroom when you walk in the door.

Side view from our master bath. The mirror on the floor provides much entertainment for Ryanne, so for now I suppose it will stay there. Maybe one day I can coax Trey into hanging it for me. When I decide where I want it, that is.

A close up view from when you walk in the door. I LOVE the throw on the bed. It's Cindy Crawford from JCP and it's chenille and wonderful. Very wonderful.

More overhead view. The throw pillows came from the lovely Wal*Mart ($6 each) and the bedding set is from JCP. Cindy Crawford set; I wanted it before we even finished building the house!

This is how on top of things I am. Ryanne is now 14 months old, and this sits on my nightstand with pictures of her from newborn to 5 months. Haha! I guess I should get on that.

Our "nightstands" were actually our old coffee table that is two pieces. I liked it much better as side tables than I did as a coffee table because it always rolled apart and glass in the living room is not an option when you have a toddler monkey girl.

Hope you enjoyed the tour and keep coming back to see more of our home in the coming weeks!

Going to the Fair . . .

If you have ever missed an episode of Teen Mom, you can just go to our county fair and catch up on anything you missed. Not to be rude, but I have never been so disappointed in a fair in my life. I suppose something about childhood made it illustrious, but it certainly is no more. Trey and I were so frustrated with it only minutes after arriving that we wound up not even staying to let Ryanne ride and of the rides. However we did go to the parade before the fair, and although we had the same rude people problem there we got some cute pictures of Ryanne and us as well as a handful of the parade.

Ryanne NEEDED to sit in Dad's chair instead of her own.

What is going on at the parade, MOM?

Fire trucks are Ryanne's favorite. But not because Trey is a firefighter. No, definitely not.
